Amazon Mechanical Turk :: Earn Money Online

I opened my mail box today and saw a mail with the subject "Earn Money Online".All through these years; I have been on internet and have received many forwards and spam’s coaxing me to subscribe to some website where you can earn extra money online. I have subscribed to few of them and found them utter waste of time and effort. These website usually send you email which you have to read or some links on which you have to click and watch the page that opens up. Some websites want you to watch the advertisement and then click on it. While other would send you the survey forms which you have to fill and submit. So how much do you earn from these "Earn online" websites, they only give you $.001 (or lesser) for doing these tasks and their payment amount is at least $100. So one day I calculated and found out that if I continue to click on the links, keep watching the ads, I would be able to get $100 in around 3-4 years, which was highly disappointing.

Few days before, I came across the website "Amazon Mechanical Turk", which was also one of the earn online website. I found to be very useful and the one which would really pay up. On this website people post the jobs which are better done by humans and they put a price to it. You can choose to do the job and once your work gets approved you get paid for it. So you just have to complete simple tasks that you can do better than computers and, get paid for it. You can choose from thousands of tasks like voice transcripts, writing an article, and can control when you work, and decide how much you earn.

I have earned $1.71.Visit Amazon Mechanical Turk. For knowing what is Mechanical Turk? Click here

Excerpts from my old school diary

Excerpts from my old school diary..........

Words are the dresses of thoughts, which should no more be presented in rags, tatters and dirt than your own person should.

We will miss your presence amongst us everyday and your absence is a void which can't be filled. Days and months roll into years, I will remember you with silent tears.

I will say through my eyes what words failed to express. When you see a smile on my face, think it as three magical words, 'I love you'.

My heart gains momentum and feels weightlessness whenever I see you. You are like a direct current, your charm is like an optical illusion, your two little eyes are like satellite and you like a comet have landed on my heart. Newton has said to every action there is equal and opposite action. So what do you say?

You're my life
       my love
       my salvation,
You're everything I need
Your love is precious to me
Hold me, don't let ever go.

You're the pearl of the sea,
You're the star of the sky,
You're a Xanthic flower,
You're my 'Duck Diamond',
whom I seek more than the GOD.

It's in my heart
Why don't you feel?
It's in my eyes
Why don't you see?
O! I have always confessed
Why don't you hear?
I think you know it all
But there is an unknown fear.
For I believe in what they say
"Love Needs No Words"

If A equal success, then formula is A equals X plus Y and Z, with X being work, Y play and Z keeping your mouth shut.

Thank God. I Am an Atheist

"A conversation took place between the leader and a scholar Jafar Sadiq and an avowed Atheist. Jafar asked the person "Have you ever travelled in the sea?" "Yes." "Have you experienced its terrors?" "Yes indeed!! One day while we were out at sea, a terrible hurricane blew up and smashed our ship. Several sailors perished. I clung to a raft of the ship but it was soon snatched away. I was thrown about in the stormy sea but eventually was tossed up on the shore." "When the storm broke," jafar commented,” Perhaps you first relied on the ship and the sailors for your safety and then on the raft which saved you for a while. But when all this went, did you resign yourself to death or did you still hope for safety?” “I hoped for safety. “On whom did you hope for safety?” The man was silent and jafar said: "The creator is the one on whom you placed your hopes at that time. And He is the one who delivered you from drowning.” After this conversation, the atheist was no longer an atheist."

Time and again I have thought about God and religion and the more I think about it, the mystery deepens up more. I have found out myself to be a "part atheist and part religious”. The atheist part of me has a story.

One day God was getting bored, he had nothing to do, no companion, no work and he was kinda bored to death. So he thought "Why not create something?” He created the Universe, the earth, water, nature, animals and everything beautiful. He was kinda amazed at his stunning creation. He applauded himself of his great powers and thought this would be a great time pass. The days passed, and he saw life on earth and every other thing in motion, it was fun in the beginning seeing all the things working according to his wishes. But the revolving earth, twinkling stars, sparkling water, lush green nature, living animals could not amuse him for long. So, he once again came back to his thinking table and this time thought of something interesting, something that could keep him busy, something that could make him so important that he would feel his worth everyday, every hour, every minute and every passing second.

He created HUMANS, and he created them in pairs, just like every other living being. He gave them FREEWILL and asked them to rule the Earth. Since then, every moment of his is engrossed in enjoying this big GAME. He sees them in happiness, he sees them in pain. They have been ambitious, lazy, defying the things that he created as impossible. They have been praying to him and making him feel great. They have been denying his existence. They have a large chunk of brain which gives them ideas and thoughts. To confuse their further unexplained life, he created different religions and created the concept of good and sin. They have been fighting, killing over religions and land. All the things that they enjoy have been classified into sin. All the good they do is for the fear of God or for enjoying the Heavens after death. The GAME has been going good and he knows that every single life that he created is screwed; they can only crave to achieve that state of Happiness but always be too far from it. Until the day they perish.

The religious part of me believes in "LA ILAHA ILL ALLAH" (There is no god only Allah).I believe in One God. That there would be a last day of judgment and there would be life after death. I have been trying to live by the ways of Islam.

But the confused "Me" still continues...........

1971

Last Weekend, I watched the Movie '1971' starring Manoj Bajpai and others. This movie is about the plight of Indian army personnel’s who have been taken by Pakistan as Prisoners of War (POW) in the 1971 India-Pakistan War that led to the liberation of Bangladesh.

There was an interesting conversation in the movie:

Soldier 1: "Yeh pakistan mae punjabi rehte hain ?"
Soldier 2: "Haan rehte hain"

Soldier 1: "aur yeh sindi"
Soldier 2: "are haan woh bhi rehte hain"

Soldier 1: "aur sun na,.. yeh apne musalman bradar to hain hi na"
Soldier 2: (irritated) "haan to kya hua"

Soldier 1: "nahin yaar mae soch raha tha.. yeh sab to apnae hindustan mae bhi rehte hain"
Soldier 2: (shouts) "haan rehte hain to.."

Soldier 1: "Abe to phir pakistan banaya hi kyon tha.."
Soldier 2: (getting angry..) "Galti ho gayi........Agae se nahin banayenge"

Thought Provoking...!!!

Run Towards Your Fear.. / How to Stay Happy.

The last inspirational book that I read was "The Monk who sold his ferrari" which was so much disliked by me due to its unrealistic storyline, that i decided for reading no more inspirational books.

A day before, I cam through a new book "The Greatness Guide" by the same author "Robin Sharma" which was owned by my room partner. No matter how much i disliked the author, I could not dissaude myself from going through this book. The book has short chapters and in every single reading session I finish atleast 10 chapters of this book. Ok !! so this is not going to be a review of the 'Greatness Guide'. There is something that i came thorough in this book that i would like to write about.

In one of its chapters, it talks about "Fear". The book said that we all have fears and we need to overcome those fears and make ourselves better. It asked all to "Run Towards Your Fear". I kinda liked this term.

The other things that i came to know is the answer to "How to be Happy ?" . The books says that if you want to be Happy Do things that make you Happy, regulary.

(When I am not in a mood to write, i cannot go beyond a single sentence lolz ... )

Thoughts Over Coffee

The other day I was in one of the coffee shop "Coasta Coffee" with my friend and was killing time on a lazy eveing.

I ordered two cold coffee and came back to the table with a bill in my hand. During my conversation with the acquaintance, my attention was drawn to the bill that was lying there on the table.I was reading the bill. The coffee costed me around 157 bucks. A thought came to my mind "This is the same amount i pay to my dhobi for washing my clothes for a month". I pay my washerman a sum for 150 Rs for washing my clothes for a month and here it is the same amount that i spend on sipping the cold coffee, which is i dont know is worth what? (With a pretty girl sitting infront of me......I was thinking of my dhobi.. Damn me..)

The other scenario that i have seen is people haggling with the rickshaw puller for a Rupee or Two.He quotes Rs. 10 and people say Rs. 5,then he agrees to take Rs.7 and they happily agree to sit. Does saving 3 rupees makes a difference? NO, it might not make a difference to them but for that poor man, it might make a difference.
